(The goal is three innings per game.) Each team will defensively field the standard positions (except catcher). Any additional players will play in the outfield. Players will be rotated to play every position on the field throughout the season. (Our teams consist of 11-12 players.) The goal for the fielding players is to maintain their space in their position. Offensively, the batter will hit from a tee. Any hit that doesnt travel more than five feet will be considered a foul ball. (This will be the coaches discretion.) There is no striking out. Your entire roster will bat in an inning. If the defensive team makes a successful play, it is up to the hitting teams coach (i.e., the first base coach) to determine if the batter is out. (Please let the kids know that an out is not the end of the world. All of the best players make outsit is part of the game. However, some of the children are very young and the hitting teams coach can use his discretion and knowledge of the child to make a decision.) If the batter is capable of making more than one base on a hit, then he should be encouraged to go to the second base. (If the ball is misplayed at first, the player should stop at first.) Coaches Responsibilities: Complete your application form. Communicate with the parents! Send your parents a welcome letter and inform them how you as the coach will communicate with them. Let them know that there might be cancellations due to weather and that you will contact them by 4:45 to let them know if a game is cancelled. At the first practice, make sure parents complete all required forms (Player Code of Conduct, Player Photo Release, and Player Waiver of Liability / Emergency Info Form) Recruit your parents to help during the practices and during the games! Offensively, you will need at least 4 parents to help for each game. You will need a first base coach, third base coach, batter coach, and a bench manager (to keep the kids away from the batter). Defensively, you need 2 coaches in the field. Come dressed ready to play baseball! The kids are excited and cant wait to play. You may be the first coach they have ever had. Show them that you are very excited about the big game. They will take T-ball more seriously and hopefully walk away feeling good about their baseball skills. Bring the equipment bag, first aid kit, and 3-ring binder with completed forms (Player Code of Conduct, Player Photo Release, and Player Waiver of Liability / Emergency Info Form) with you to each practice/game. It is up to you if you want to coordinate snacks for the games or assign a parent to coordinate snacks. (Dont forget to consider your players allergies.) Each player should bring a water bottle with them to practice. It is a good idea to also have insect repellent handy. 0 A E F J + 7 G H Y y { | " 7 9 S s FR.Jt178h<pĿ㻳㻟hwh-hV*5>*\h5>*\h5>*\h+ h>* hhv 7hh>*hv 7hV*hhVjh h5>* hCJ hBCJ hCJ 8 !0 9 S s .hop & Fgd+ & F & F,1h/ =!"#$% ^ 666666666vvvvvvvvv666666>6666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666hH6666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666662 0@P`p2( 0@P`p 0@P`p 0@P`p 0@P`p 0@P`p 0@P`p8XV~_HmH nH sH tH @`@ NormalCJ_HaJmH sH tH DA D Default Paragraph FontViV Table Normal :V 44 la (k (No List 2>@2 Title$a$5>*PK![Content_Types].xmlj0Eжr(΢Iw},-j4 wP-t#bΙ{UTU^hd}㨫)*1P' ^W0)T9<l#$yi};~@(Hu* Dנz/0ǰ $ X3aZ,D0j~3߶b~i>3\`?/[G\!-Rk.sԻ..a濭?PK!֧6 _rels/.relsj0 }Q%v/C/}(h"O = C?hv=Ʌ%[xp{۵_Pѣ<1H0ORBdJE4b$q_6LR7`0̞O,En7Lib/SeеPK!kytheme/theme/themeManager.xml M @}w7c(EbˮCAǠҟ7՛K Y, e.|,H,lxɴIsQ}#Ր ֵ+!,^$j=GW)E+& 8PK!Ptheme/theme/theme1.xmlYOo6w toc'vuر-MniP@I}úama[إ4:lЯGRX^6؊>$ !)O^rC$y@/yH*񄴽)޵߻UDb`}"qۋJחX^)I`nEp)liV[]1M<OP6r=zgbIguSebORD۫qu gZo~ٺlAplxpT0+[}`jzAV2Fi@qv֬5\|ʜ̭NleXdsjcs7f W+Ն7`g ȘJj|h(KD- dXiJ؇(x$( :;˹!
