2006 8 Year Old Select Team
 

The North Stamford 8 Year Old Select Team competed this past summer against teams from all over Fairfield County as a part of the Connecticut District 1 Friendship Tournament.

The team finished the tournament with a 7-1-1 record, the best of any team in the tournament!  Among the more memorable games were decisive road wins at Shelton and Darien and a hard fought tie against National Lione in the tourney opener.

Though the coaches and parents were proud of the teams play we were more proud of the lessons learned involving sportsmanship, dedication, teamwork and friendship. We received important contributions from every single player and every player earned at least one game ball for exceptional play. 

The team’s success would not have been possible without the hard work of coaches Glenn Colarossi, Rick Piotrzowski, Gary Chase, Doug Horn and Peter Levensohn.

The entire coaching staff would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of the parents who helped us out with the team. Without them, our success would not have been possible.
