2006 12 Year Old All Star Team
 
Pictured here is the 2006 North Stamford Little League All Star Team, which evolved from one of the deepest talent pools ever assembled in our program. Their success over the last four years came from the participation of many different players who aspired to show that they had the “Attitude and Effort” to make the team succeed.

As 9-years olds, these boys become the first team in our district to enter a 9-year old team in the 9/10 District Tournament. And they won a game!  When they were 10-years old, they captured the championship in the Shelton Little Guys Tournament.  Again, as 11-year olds, another championship title would be theirs when they won the 11-Year Old District title.  As a result they advanced that year to participate in the State Tournament.

As 12-year olds, these boys ended their careers with yet one more championship title.  Finishing with a 10 – 3 record they were crowned champions of the Stamford American Post-District Tournament.  So much success could only be attributed to the hard work and dedication of these boys, along with their coaches, Steve Palumbo and Ron Russo and the administrative support of Arle D’Alessandro.   The success was especially sweet as it was enjoyed every step of the way with the support of the players’ families.  It was truly North Stamford Little League at its best!
