The property owners, league operators, referees, owners and staff of TSC assume no liability for any injuries or accidents, which may occur. Please reference Release Liability Waiver Forms and signage posted within the facility. Absolutely NO ALCOHOL prior to playing. Conduct within the facility should be in the spirit of good sportsmanship as is on the field. Players caught under the influence of alcohol or any illegal substance will result in ejection from the facility. TSC reserves the right to refuse play and or service to anyone. Violations of any rules will result in ejection from the facility. No ball playing outside of the arena. NO practicing on the basketball courts or walkways. Children must be under adult supervision at all times! Back area of the facility is off limits. Please keep hands and feet off the glass, boards and netting. No outside food or drinks allowed in the facility. Players may bring water and sports drink into the center. No gum, sunflower seeds, chewing tobacco, smoking, or similar type products are permitted in the facility. No food, drinks, chewing gum, or spitting permitted on playing surface or player boxes. No foul, abusive, racial or derogatory language allowed. You WILL be ejected if you want to use offensive language. In the event of bad weather, the Tyngsboro Sports Center will make every effort to keep our facility and its grounds safe from snow, ice and other perils. Unless posted we will be open and expect players, coaches and other guests to use caution, additional time and their own best judgment to proceed to the facility. No refunds will be made nor games made up if the facility is open and the team/players decide not to participate. It is our sincere hope that all players and spectators enjoy our facility. Our facility is here for your enjoyment, if there is anything we can do to improve it, please let us hear from you. Your comments and suggestions are encouraged and appreciated. Individuals or groups wishing to form special interest teams (including but not limited to physically and mentally challenged player(s) are encouraged to contact management for more information. EQUIPMENT: Teams MUST be dressed in matching colored uniforms. Teams are requested to have alternate colored jerseys. TSC can provide alternate scrimmage vests. Numbers are required on all jerseys. Shin guards are required for all. Stockings must cover shin guards at all times. Mouth guards are not required but are encouraged. FIRST AID: The facility has a limited first aid kit. It shall be the responsibility of each team to maintain their own first-aid kit. TSC has an AED (heart defibrillator) at the concession stand in the event it is needed. FORFEITURES: A team forfeiting a game(s) during any one session will be subject to the following fines unless a 48 hours written notice to TSC is received. 1st forfeit is $75.00, 2nd forfeit is $75.00, and 3rd forfeit is termination of team participation from the session and loss of re-registration priority. Opposing team has the option to take the field during the regularly scheduled time, but if they do not take this option the forfeiting team will be held responsible for the cost to reimburse the opposing team. If the forfeiting team attempts (3 or 4 persons show) to provide a team, NO fine will be enforced. GAME BALLS: The home team on the schedule is responsible for providing the game ball. GAME SCHEDULE AND MAKE-UP GAMES: If a team is unable to play a scheduled game, the opposing team may choose to accept a 2-0 forfeit. If both teams agree to a make-up, they will be offered possible times from the facility management office. It will be the team managers or representatives’ responsibility to coordinate and select one of the available times. The team requesting to reschedule a match must request a reschedule in writing one week prior to subject game; failure to do so will result in the game being forfeited (See FORFEITURES). THERE WILL BE NO RESCHEDULES OF AN ALREADY RESCHEDULED GAME. LAWS OF THE GAME: The laws of the game followed at TSC are as set forth, unless otherwise specified (please refer to TSC LAWS OF THE GAME available at the facility). LEAGUE REGISTRATION & FEES: Teams are registered on a first-come, first served basis; with existing registered teams getting priority. League fees must be paid in full before the first game is played, or as dictated by TSC. LEVELS OF COMPETITION: TSC reserves the right to make the necessary changes within league divisions to ensure an equal level of ability and competition, including but not limited to age purity of divisions. LEAGUE DIVISION TIES: Any league divisions ending in a tie at the end of the league season shall be governed by the following tie breaking system order: 1st Comparison of league record against each other. 2nd Comparison - goals against. 3rd Comparison - goals for PLAYER BOXES: Only Players and two (2) coaches/managers are allowed in the Player boxes during league games. Family, friends and guests are required to remain in designated viewing area. PLAYER DIVISION PARTICIPATION: Players may only be on one roster in a given league. Players may participate in more than one league participation. PLAYER ROSTERS: Player rosters must be turned in prior to the FIRST LEAGUE GAME. Changes will be permitted up to and including the seasons half way point. Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of all games played with illegal player(s). Players may only be added later if a player is injured and removed from the roster for the remainder of the session. Proof of injury must be provided. Acceptable proof shall be a doctor's note. At the discretion of management, a team may claim hardship and add one player to the roster with the exception of the playoff game. PROTEST: Intention to file a protest must be noted in writing immediately following the game. A formal written protest must be submitted to TSC within 48 hours after the end of the game. ONLY A VIOLATION OF THE LAWS OF THE GAME, RULES OR GUIDELINES OF THE FACILITY AS PUBLISHED ARE MATTER FOR PROTEST. VIDEO TAPE WILL NOT BE VIEWED AS EVIDENCE IN A PROTEST. Protestations regarding fielding of illegal players must be brought to the attention of the game officials prior to the suspected player(s) leaving the field of play. RED CARD POLICY: A player or coach/manager sent off in (or after) a game by a referee (red carded) will automatically be suspended from the next game in the session. In addition, a player will be banned from playing on any other team until the suspension has been served. If a player is ejected in the last game of a session, he/she will be prohibited from playing in the first game after he/she registers for another session. Any game a suspended player plays in will be forfeited by the suspended player's team." IF A PLAYER THAT HAS RECEIVED A RED CARD PLAYS DURING THEIR SUSPENSION, THE FINE OR SUSPENSION WILL INCREASE BY NO LESS THAT DOUBLE THE ORGINAL PENELTY OR BE DETERMIND BY THE OWNERS OF TYNGSBORO SPORTS CENTER". A player red carded for the offense of "persistent infraction" of the rules after receiving a caution (yellow card) or a third blue card 2-minute time penalty will be suspended as outlined above. A player or coach/manager red carded for the offense of "violent conduct" (including, but not limited to: spitting, threatening, continued rough play, etc.), will be suspended as outlined above and, in addition, will receive for the 1st red card, a team fine of $100.00, and be suspended for the next game. 2nd red card is a team fine of $250.00 and if from the same player as the first red card, and suspension from the next game. 3rd red card is a team fine of $500.00 and if from the same player as the first two red cards will automatically be suspended from any further activities at TSC. Red card recipient may not play until fine is paid (suspension time begins after receipt of fine payment). A player or coach/manager red carded for the offense of "foul and abusive language" will be subject to further disciplinary action as decided by the facility management. A player or coach/manager red carded for "assaulting an official" will automatically be suspended from any further activities at Tyngsboro Sports Center. AN "ASSAULT ON AN OFFICIAL" SHALL BE DEFINED AS A BATTERY OR AN ATTEMPT TO COMMIT A BATTERY UPON AN OFFICIAL; AND AN ACT, WHICH IS CLOSE TO ACCOMPLISHMENT, SHALL BE SUFFICIENT TO CONSTITUTE AN ASSAULT UPON AN OFFICIAL. ANY ASSULT ON AN OFFICIAL SHALL RESULT IN A PERMANENT BAN FROM METRO CITY SOCCER. LOCAL AUTHORITIES WILL ALSO BE NOTIFIED. Should a coach/manager of a team be unable to control a player’s action after a red card is issued, the coach will also be suspended as outlined above. A player accumulating three red cards over a one year period will be banned from the TSC. "Jumping-in": A player jumping from the player box on to the field to break up or participate in a fight will automatically be ejected from the game. GAME STOPPAGE RULE: If a player's behavior during game play on any one team results in a stoppage of such game, the opposing team wins by a 2-0 forfeit. REFEREE STAFF: TSC management would like to reaffirm that referees appointed to officiate each game have complete authority, and that his/her decisions on points of fact connected with the game are final. Officiating will be monitored and assessed periodically and in-house training and classes will provide for quality officiating. Constructive comments regarding officiating are welcomed and encouraged. Please submit any such comments in writing. Complaints regarding officials should be submitted in writing and contain points of fact. Do not discuss officiating or the officials with the facility staff during or immediately after your game. RELEASE LIABILITY WAIVER: No individual will be allowed to participate in any league games, practice sessions, tournaments, clinics, open pick-up games, or other activities until a release form has been properly completed and signed. RESPONSIBILITY COACH/MANAGER/PLAYER: It is the responsibility of each player and the player's team manager to be aware of the total status of their players' infractions. Failure to comply may result in further disciplinary measures, which may include suspension of the coach/rep and forfeiture of games played in (this includes use of illegal players - those not registered properly on the team roster.) SPORTSMANSHIP: Individuals are expected to play under control and within the rules of the game, and to the best of their ability will avoid causing injury to themselves and other persons using the facility. TERMINATION OF PARTICIPATION: The facility management reserves the right to terminate an individual and team's participation at the facility for violation of the facility policies as posted. TEAM NO-SHOWS: If a team cannot play a scheduled game (See GAME SCHEDULE AND MAKE-UP GAMES) the opposing team will be awarded a 2-0 victory. NO RESCHEDULE WILL BE GIVEN. (See FORFEITURES).
