Minutes from October 2010 meeting was reviewed. REPORT ACCEPTED
Chris Campbell Eagle Scout Project
Letter for Chris’s recycling project at the field needs to be completed.
$1,831.15 was raised for scholarship fund. MOTION: give four $500 scholarships next spring. MOTION PASSED.
Spring Uniform Colors
Follow up with Fran to see about possibility of changing colors going forward since a number of towns now have uniform colors similar to PYS.
Gary Parker reported that all paperwork for PYS to become non-profit has been filed with the state. Parking fundraiser raised $1831.15 for scholarship fund. Reviewed balance sheet and profit and loss statement. REPORT ACCEPTED.
Information to U16 and U18 players will go out in December for spring registration. U10 Girls will be reducing to 7 teams.
COACHING EDUCATION REPORT –
Samba Sundays offered by PYS with PTUSA will begin in January and run for 8 weeks. Program will be for U7-U10. Cost for U7 and U8 is $70 for 1 hour sessions. Cost for U10 is $100 for 1.5 hour sessions. Details will be posted on website and email will be sent out. Ralph will be attending the Mass Youth Soccer annual meeting. Board also discussed how to get more coaches to take coaching courses.
REFEREE COORDINATOR REPORT –
Fall season went pretty well. There were a few issues with coaches and teams at the U8 level.
COASTAL REPORT -No Report
We have received inquiries from NEFC and MPS regarding spring field rentals.
Wednesday, December 15th @ Alumni Café
Discussed issues regarding lease going forward. MOTION: Create a “Lease Committee”. MOTION PASSED. Initial members of the committee shall be: Executive Board (except for Mike Tropeano), Dave Carter, Dan Sullivan, Jen Hardy.
