Minutes from March 10, 2010 meeting were reviewed. REPORT ACCEPTED.
TREASURER’S REPORT – No Report
Coordinators and coaches need to be reminded that only players on the roster and with player cards are allowed to play.
Second date for team pictures is 5/15/2010.
Scorpions have agreed to our field rental rates. Board will vote at next meeting whether to rent fields next year.
Calendars have been distributed to coaches.
Mike Tropeano and Andy Goodman are still transitioning registrar position to Mike. Registration nights will be 5/16, 5/25 and 7/20 (late registration). Mike will confirm dates and time once he has booked space at town hall. Fees will be kept the same as last year. Late fee will be in effect after 7/1 for all registrations.
COACHING EDUCATION REPORT – No Report
COASTAL REPORT - PYS fined $50 for roster violation (player not on roster yet).
REFEREE COORDINATOR REPORT – No Report
Discounted tickets for 4/24/10 game and PYS will get some Revs gear in exchange.
PTUSA “Little Kickers” Program
Paul Turner has asked if he could run his program for 4-6 year olds at the fields the same day he is running the training academy. 7 or 8 weeks this spring from 3:45-4:45. Will check with Dan Sullivan as he is running a program for similar ages in Saturday mornings.
U10 Girls need to do a better job of reporting scores. Jim Balkam needs coordinators to get coaches to send him scores.
Chuck Pulselli presented options for select team jackets. Cost would be $47 per jacket. Board decided to make same jacket available to all players, but have a select team patch for players on the select team. MOTION: Wind breaker jacket with flag and patch that says “Pembroke Youth Soccer Coastal League”. MOTION PASSED.
Cars are still parking in the fire lane at the fields. Looking into getting signs that say “No Parking”.
Hot Dog Machine
Marshfield Country Club wants to buy old hot dog machine for $100. We do not use it. MOTION: Sell hot dog machine to Marshfield Country Club. MOTION PASSED.
Dave Gleason suggested offering speed and agility training for a nominal fee with all money going back to PYS. Will look at possible dates.
