SECRETARY'S REPORT
Minutes from May 14, 2008 meeting were reviewed. REPORT ACCEPTED.

OLD BUSINESS

MYSA BOARD DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP
Follow-up visit from Mike Singleton of Mass. Youth Soccer was postponed to a later date (to be determined).

TREASURER'S REPORT
Lisa Stoyle presented and reviewed handout with income/expenses for 7/1/07-6/11/2008. Calendar raffle profits down a little from last year. Snack bar has made about $3,700 so far this year. REPORT ACCEPTED.

REGISTRAR'S REPORT
Andy Goodman reported there were about 520 walk-in registrations over the two nights in May. There have been about 110 online registrations so far. Date for late registration is July 15th. Discussed looking into software providers to coordinate registration and rosters. Will report back on findings.

COACHING EDUCATION REPORT
Ralph Perrotto reported. Received positive feedback on PTUSA clinics.

COASTAL REPORT
Fran Squatrito reported he will remain coastal rep next season but is stepping down as league statistician.

PTUSA/CRUSADERS UNITED JUNIOR ACADEMY
Ralph Perrotto reported that Paul Turner is looking for an additional training location for the PTUSA/Crusaders United junior academy for Pembroke players and would like to use field space at Hobomock. Board discussed and decided that due to issues with field availability and wear and tear on the fields we would be unable to provide space at this time.

SOCCER TOT PROGRAM
Dan Sullivan would like to explore possibility of starting a soccer tot program for ages 3&4 in the fall. Will report back.

EVALUATION COMMITTEE PROPOSAL
Mike Tropeano presented recommendations from the evaluation committee relating to U12s and U14s. The committee recommended changes to the select ream selection process which would allow the select team coach one additional discretionary pick. Motion made to accept recommendation and change the PYS document "Coach and Player Selection Procedures" Section 4.5.4 and Section 4.5.5 which institutes these changes (see attached). MOTION ACCEPTED: Board discussed idea of picking select teams in August and playing in the fall coastal league, but decided to hold off making a decision at this time to allow for further discussion. Also discussed recommendation to allow select coach one additional discretionary pick.
