OPENING REMARKS: Field Clean Up day was very productive and well attended, fields were lined and the snack bar also got painted.

WORLD CUP CAMP: The dates are for Grades 1-5 July 5 thru July 9, Grades 6-8 July 12 thru July 16, High School Last two weeks of July. The price increased this year to $185.00. Pembroke Youth Soccer will be compensated $1000.00 this year, and next year 10% of tuition will be paid to PYS. There was mention of Dean Schneider doing some coaching classes.
SPONSORSHIP UPDATE: Advertising signs on the Snack Bar was rejected by the School Committee. PYS will have three tiers of sponsorship
- sponsor a team for the Fall only for $150.00
- sponsor a team for Fall and Spring for $225.00
- sign on snack bar
Currently, have no sponsors and are starting fresh for the fall.
SCHOLARSHIPS: We have 25 applications and the deadline is May 9th. In the past we have granted four $500.00 scholarships. Because of the current financial condition of PYS and also the lack of a Scholarship Fund-raiser it was discussed that we would only award two $500 scholarships.
VOTED AND ACCEPTED: Grant only two $500.00 scholarships
TREASURERíS REPORT: The 2002 and 2003 report needs to be filed. We have $17, 547.67 cash on hand. This does not include any snack bar revenues or calendar raffles. Registration money will be posted in June for the year. Money is tight. We have to fill out forms for any transaction over $600. Treasurerís report accepted and put on file.
REGISTRARíS REPORT: We currently have 923 players with 30-40 for late registration. Bill discussed on-line registration options and it was decided that it would be up to Bill Tholenís discretion what company he would choose.
Kid Safe laws have changed. Now a complete background check is done and unless it was sealed it is reported. Registrarís report was accepted and put on file.
COACHING EDUCATION The "F" Course went well and it was fully attended.
REPORT: Goalkeeperís course for U12ís U14 Boys and Girls Sundays mornings at 10:00 for one hour.
COASTAL REPORT: We got referee-flipping coins.
OLD BUSINESS: In November of 2003 it was decided that we would try to avoid having coordinators who have children in that division, the first preference would be to chose someone without a child in the division. Also, we would try to align Fall/Spring coordinators for a full year. Since there is no July meeting, the June meeting is where coordinators will be decided.
FIELD RENTALS: PYS has been approached about the possibility of renting out the fields to club teams, it was decided that we should come up with a policy and a process to determine who should rent. We decided to rent out one field on Sundays for $100.00. It was further decided to allow the Executive Board to okay game uses only with preference given to PKH for $100/ with our discretion on closing fields, this arrangement would be short-term, they do not own that time. Sunday use only.
NO DOGS ALLOWED: Signs will be posted.
